Pooh-Bear's Grand Adventure

Today, as is every day, I wonder when the real adventure begins. Isn't that just the way with humans? There is so much going on - work to do for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. Yet, through it all our spirit aches for the next thing; for the event yet to happen, and for the adventure that seems to be stayed.

Hosea 12:6 Therefore, return to your God, Observe kindness and justice, And wait for your God continually.

Do I continually want justice? No, I want my own brand of justice - NOW! I want my way, and to my darkened, fleshly soul it sounds good. It sounds even noble. But it's grounded in rebellion and deceit.

This coming week I will have the gift to retreat into myself at our beautiful farm and personally reflect where the Lord is taking us on this journey. I'm so grateful for my dear husband as he continues to hold down the fort and care for his own
